40 years of bringing world music and jazz to Ealing. 

The Ealing Jazz Festival takes over London’s Walpole Park for a weekend of world music, funky jazz and soulful beats. From international artists to local heroes, musicians will be taking the stage to show off their saxophone skills, drumming beats, and brass pipes , supporting some of Jazz’s best traditional and modern-day greats.   

With its rich history, top-notch performers, and diverse range of musical styles, this festival has something for everyone. Held annually in the vibrant London borough of Ealing, this is one of the biggest jazz festivals in the UK, showcasing incredible music and offering something for festival goers of all ages. This is definitely a family friendly festival with amazing street food and plenty of drinks.

YolanDa Brown Ealing Jazz festival 2024

We are thrilled to bring YolanDa Brown‘s delicious fusion of reggae, jazz, and soul to our Big Top this year. Catch the UK’s leading saxophonist and two-time MOBO winner for ‘Best Jazz Artist’ on Saturday 3rd August at 9.30 PM. 

 With tours alongside legends like The Temptations and collaborations with icons from Dave Stewart (Eurythmics) to Kelly Jones (Stereophonics) her musical prowess knows no bounds! But YolanDa’s talents extend far beyond worldwide touring and critically acclaimed albums. Appointed Chair of BPI (Brit Awards, Mercury Prize) and awarded an OBE for her outstanding contributions to music, education, and broadcasting, YolanDa Brown is a true renaissance woman and champion of the arts.  

Nubiyan Twist are set to headline Ealing Jazz Festival, closing the festival on Sunday 04 August with their powerful big band sound and exhilarating, ultra-tight musicianship. 

Known for their unique and infectious blend of jazz, hip-hop, afrobeat, dancehall, soul, reggae, and dance, these global virtuosos are taking the UK music scene by storm. Their latest release “Find Your Flame” boasts remarkable collaborations, including legend Nile Rodgers, infusing his disco mastery into the single “Lights Out”

London Afrobeat Collective are a tight-knit family of musicians from around the world, living in London and united by a love of afrobeat and a desire to take original music to new places. From Europe to Africa, Glastonbury Festival to Felabration in Lagos, they deliver party-music born of their truly global DNA

Plantfood are a 6 piece blood-pumping jazz force summoning an intricate mix of electronic and acoustic layers with influences all the way from spiritual jazz to contemporary club music. Plantfood’s sound takes inspiration from artists such as The Prodigy, Mulatu Astatke and John Coltrane. From the mosh pit to serene soundscapes and back again, the journey plantfood takes you on is an unforgettable one.

Sol Paradise

Hailing from North London, multi-instrumentalist and producer Sol Paradise emerged onto the scene in 2020 with debut single ‘No Doubt’. His work fuses jazz, alternative and soul with influences from Brazilian funk.

Mica Sefia is a contemporary soul singer, combining simplicity of spoken word and heavy rock influence to create atmospheric full sound usually powered by her 11 piece band to give full impact of sound and emotion.

Live performances are where Soothsayers take their unique and universally uplifting afro , jazz and dub infused sound to the next level. Combining high quality musicianship with a lyrical message, warm sonics and irresistible dance grooves.

Renown for their powerful and cinematic performances, London-based instrumental/experimental outfit Kinkajous have been refining their unmistakable sound.
