It’s not surprising that Little George’s love for downhome blues and soul shines so brightly when his influences range from Jimmy Reed and Muddy Waters to Johnnie Taylor and Sam Cooke.
He is known as one of the U.K.’s finest and unusual blues singers and 3 time winner of “Harp Player Of The Year” In Blueprint magazine, who’s recorded with blues legends – Lazy Lester & Jimmy Thomas, been cited by Mojo magazine as “Essential” in the Top 5 picks of 2001, been championed on the airwaves by Charlie Gillett, John Peel, Andy Kershaw and Jools Holland, and toured the world.
